It’s Never too Late to go to Beauty School
Many people are under the impression that if they’ve already attending a regular college or university, have been working for years, or are of a certain age, that beauty school is out of the question. The truth of the matter is, you’re never too old for beauty school and you’re certainly never too old to start a new career that would make you happy.
Beauty schools don’t discriminate. If you’ve spent 30 years working for the same company and aren’t happy, and realize that you’d much rather be giving manicures or styling hair, then go to beauty school. Of course, if you’ve solidified a career already, then leaving that security and starting over could be scary. It’s probably best to continue working while attending beauty school, but make sure you can still dedicate enough time and attention to your studies and attending your classes while in beauty school.
Beauticians come in all shapes, sizes and, of course, ages. Age should not determine whether or not you choose to attend beauty school; your passion and desire should be the only determining factor in whether or not you attend beauty school.
Just because you have already chosen a completely different career path or are 53 years old doesn’t mean that beauty school can’t become a positive, life-altering experience for you. There’s always time to make positive changes in your life, whether you’re 23 or 87, so don’t wait. Attending beauty school and becoming a licensed beautician in any of the related fields is a rewarding and satisfying experience that is not exclusively for a younger crowd. Despite your age or experience in other fields, beauty school may be right for you.
